August 23, 2009....one of the happiest days of my life! Zoi Salice Bruni was born 9-something PM, 7.5 lbs, 21 inches long and lots of dark brown hair (all of which she kept :)). From the moment Zoi arrived into this world she has been an angel and very alert...I'll never forget the doctor and nurse commenting on how alert she was when she was born. Zoi was a very healthy baby (at least at this point we didn't know of any brain damage). She did have jaundice, but I thought nothing of it as my son had it as well and the doctors never seemed concerned. Zoi was sent home on lights and she was under them for her first week home. The second her levels were normal we packed the lights up and held her day and night....
